Fans will have to wait at least another week before we possibly see Carson Wentz make his triumphant return. Today Doug Pederson announced that Nick Foles will be his starting QB for Week 2.

After a slow start in Thursday’s game, Nick Foles and Doug Pederson pulled out the “Philly Philly” to help jumpstart the Eagles offense, and it worked. The team scored two touchdowns in the second half to contribute to the Eagles’ 1-0 start to the season.
Foles is absolutely capable of keeping the team afloat until Wentz returns. Until then, Foles will be doing his best to rake in as much incentive money as possible with these starts.
