Thursday night’s season-opening win against the Falcons was far from a banner night (no pun intended) for the offense. Yes, they scored enough points to win the game, but the defense did most of the heavy lifting and there was room for improvement from every offensive position group. That fact hasn’t escaped Zach Ertz.
Zach Ertz wasnt happy about his drops in first game. Workin hard
“I was on the jugs machine for an hour the next day. I was bummed with those two errors, but we won the game”

As fans, it’s sometimes easy to forget that these guys are as hard on themselves as we can be on them. It’s great to hear Ertz acknowledge the mistakes and express his disappointment, and equally great to hear him talk about working to get better and discuss becoming a complete tight end. It sounds like he is developing into an excellent leader as well.
