Mike Wallace hasn’t had the start to his Eagles career that he would have wanted. In the season opener against the Falcons, Wallace failed to record a reception in the game. He finally caught his first pass as an Eagle in Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers, but the play was negated due to a penalty. He ended up leaving the game early due to a right ankle injury, and was quickly ruled out for the rest of the game – which is never a good sign.
After the game, Wallace went on social media to post a cryptic message to fans.

The first thought that comes to mind when seeing the message is that he got bad news regarding his injury and might miss some games. Or looking at it or a brighter side, he might just be upset about the team’s loss and his injury isn’t as serious as fans and media are starting to think it is. He was seen in the locker room after the game wearing a boot on his right foot.

Doug Pederson will likely give a status on Wallace’s health at his next press conference.
