When he left Sunday’s game early in the first quarter, Jason Peters gave every Eagles fan a scare. ‘The Bodyguard’ has just returned from missing the last half of the 2017 season with a torn ACL, and as he gets older concern is growing that his body can’t keep up with the physical game of football. He injured his quad in the game against the Buccaneers, but the future hall-of-famer vows to be ready for Sunday’s game against the Colts.
Will Jason Peters be back next week?

Peters claims that the quad injury was a re-injury that he initially hurt it in a practice. “I hurt it in practice — last play of practice on Thursday…It was nagging today and it kept grabbing on me and I just came out. I’ll be back for the next game.”
With news of Carson Wentz returning under center, he will need all the help he can get to make sure he is protected and is limited with the hits he takes.
