The Eagles’ rushing game remained effective on Sunday despite the absence of both Jay Ajayi and Darren Sproles. The Birds piled up 152 yards on the ground, averaging 4.3 yards per carry and finding the end zone once.
Despite the production, it is always good to have your top options available, and it looks like the Eagles will next week, as Doug Pederson expects both Ajayi and Sproles to be active.
Doug said he expects Jay Ajayi and Darren Sproles to both be available Sunday. Alshon will get more work in practice than last week.

Despite being limited by a back injury for much of the Bucs game in Week 2, Ajayi has found the end zone three times in two games. Meanwhile, Sproles provides a much-needed change of pace and receiving threat.
The increased depth will also be welcomed, especially with what the Birds are dealing with at wide receiver. With the full stable of backs available, guys can stay fresh and Pederson will have increased flexibility in play calling.
Corey Clement, Wendell Smallwood, and Josh Adams stepped up last week, and Pederson will likely still look for ways to get them touches. But the return of Ajayi and Sproles will be a welcome sight.
