Ronald Darby had himself a night to remember in Thursday night’s showdown with the Giants. He broke up four passes that were thrown in his direction, helped limit Odell Beckham Jr. to just 44 receiving yards, and was a part of an Eagles secondary that didn’t allow Eli Manning to throw a touchdown pass. He played so well that Pro Football Focus thought it was the 2nd best game played by a cornerback so far this season.
Ronald Darby had an overall grade of 92.2 vs. the Giants in Pro Football Focus’ grading system.
Only one cornerback who played more than 20 snaps has had a better single-week performance this season. #Eagles

His performance Thursday night was big for his future, as he is in a contract-year this season. If he keeps playing like he did Thursday night, he will line himself up for a huge payday this spring – a payday which might come from Howie Roseman and the Eagles front office.
