Eagles & Giants Announce Final Injury Reports for Sunday’s Game

The Eagles will try to turn around their season this Sunday in an important matchup against their NFC East rival, the New York Giants. The Eagles already beat the Giants earlier this year in a 34-13 route, but this time around it doesn’t seem likely that either team will blow the other out. The Eagles will head into this game with a lengthy list of injuries, mostly to their secondary:

  • Rasul Douglas did not practice at all this week, so the only reason he would be considered questionable is because of the lack of depth at the position. He might end up being dressed for the game, but would only come into the game if another other defensive backs get hurt. With Jones, Maddox and Mills all out, the Eagles cornerbacks on Sunday will be Cre’Von LeBlanc, Chandon Sullivan and De’Vante Bausby. May God have mercy on our secondary.
  • Jordan Hicks is out, meaning the Eagles Middle Linebacker for the Giants game will be Nate Gerry, the Eagles’ 5th round pick of the 2017 NFL Draft.
  • Darren Sproles is out once again, and it looks like Josh Adams has taken over as the Eagles’ lead Running Back.

The Giants will head into Sunday’s game relatively healthy, with only one player listed as out:

  • Wynn is a back-up Defensive End with only 4.5 career sacks since he came into the league in 2014. So the Giants aren’t really losing much for this game.

The Eagles will need to hope that Eli Manning continues to underperform like he has over the past few seasons, otherwise the only way the Eagles win this game is if their offense wakes up and puts up 30-40 points.
