Sunday’s comeback against the Giants was a victory in two different ways: it was an important divisional win and the team finally escaped a game without any major injuries to any key players. Well today that latter victory was tarnished a bit, as today we found out that Nigel Bradham broke his thumb.
Nigel Bradham had surgery on Monday. He got a plate and six pins put in his thumb. He said the injury happened on the third play Sunday but he played through it. #Eagles

With not a lot of depth at the Linebacker position already, plus an extremely important divisional game against the Washington Redskins Monday Night, Bradham will try to play through his painful-sounding thumb injury. If Bradham can’t go Monday Night, the player behind him on the depth chart is Nathan Gerry, but he is already starting in place of Jordan Hicks. Behind Gerry is D.J. Alexander, who is strictly a special-teams caliber player. So let’s just hope Bradham is active or else the Eagles might find themselves in some trouble on Monday.
