Before the Eagles take the field in their season finale against the Washington Football Team, our writers need to come up with some bold predictions for the game.
Here's a recap of previous bold predictions from each week and the winning predictor from our writers:

Week 16: no one
We'll see if anyone can have a fully correct prediction this week as the Eagles try to avoid a season sweep from Washington and finish the season with five wins. Here's what our writers are boldly predicting for this weekend:
Andrew W: Zach Ertz has a history of performing well in Week 17 when the game doesn't mean much (four receptions, 56 yards vs NYG in 2014; nine receptions, 152 yards vs NYG in 2015; 13 receptions, 139 yards, two touchdowns vs DAL in 2016). With Dallas Goedert out and Washington having a dominant pass rush, Hurts will get the ball out fast to Ertz. He'll finish with 9+ catches, but only 60 total receiving yards.
Trevor: With a lot of starters missing action and another group of offensive lineman starting, the offense will struggle. Washington's defense has a field day recording 5+ sacks. Eagles lose 22-3.
Paul: It would be typical for the Eagles to win a game when they really don’t need to. But without some of their players to help them win, it won’t happen. They’ll make a valiant effort in winning but will come up short to end this miserable year. Washington 17 Eagles 14.
Andrew Palagruto: Jalen Hurts will run for 65+ yards and a touchdown while throwing for 250+ yards and two touchdowns.
