Earlier today, the NFL announced its preseason schedule for all 32 teams. Here's a look at what the Eagles' four game exhibitions will be:
Here is a quick breakdown of the four opponents the Eagles will face in August:
Home vs Titans (August 8th-12th)
The Eagles will get a chance at a little bit of payback in Week 1 against the Titans. In Week 4 of last season, the Eagles went down to Nashville and lost in overtime to the Titans (thanks Corey Graham). The first game will likely feature Carson Wentz and the rest of the Eagles starters for only one series before the backups and depth players get a chance to show off their skills.
Away at Jacksonville (August 15th-19th)
The Eagles will come face to face with their sweet prince, Nick Foles, as the Birds head down to Jacksonville to battle the Jaguars. Nick Foles will likely play for about a quarter, as well as all of the Eagles starters before once again letting the depth players get their chance.
Home vs Baltimore (August 22nd-25th)
The Eagles will host the Ravens for the third week of the preseason. Leading up to the game, the Ravens will go to the NovaCare Complex for joint practices with the Eagles. This is the final tune-up game for the starters, as they will likely play until halftime or maybe a little bit into the 3rd quarter before getting pulled.
Away at New York Jets (August 29th-30th)
The annual final preseason game between the Eagles and the New York Jets will go on once again this year, with New York hosting the tradition in 2019. These two teams have in Week 4 of the preseason every year since 2001. The starters won't get any playing time in this game, as depth players will get one last chance to show they belong on the final 53-man roster.
