Carson Wentz has made another fan for life.
After today's practice, Wentz was introduced to a child who leukemia is in remission but is still undergoing chemo. They greeted each other with a hug, and spent a lot of time getting to know each other and play a little bit of football. The kid even gave Wentz a wristband to put on, and he didn't even hesitate to put it on for the child. Wentz is still wearing the bracelet that the "Dutch Destroyer" gave to him, so we should probably expect Wentz to be wearing this new bracelet for a long time.
You can watch highlights of the meeting between the two in the tweet below.
Carson Wentz has a lot going for him in life: he won five consecutive Division I Football Championships at North Dakota State, he was the 2nd pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, he has a Super Bowl ring, he got married over the offseason, started his own charity food truck in the offseason, last week he made his much-anticipated return from his ACL injury, and now is expected to get back his #1 WR this week. All of this on top of constantly making kids' days in the city of Philadelphia, it seems like everything Wentz does is something good, or good comes from what he does. It seems like the "Midas Touch" might soon be called the "Wentz Touch" in the city of brotherly love.
