Chris Long is at it again. After donating his entire 2017 salary towards educational equality, Long then donated nearly a quarter of his salary this year to help increase early literacy among kids through the Chris Long Foundation. Now Long has his fellow defensive line teammate Fletcher Cox on board with helping early literacy, as today Cox announced that he will help Long distribute 5,000 books to children in Mississippi, Cox's home state.
When it comes to playing on the field in 2019, Long has said he is still undecided about retiring or playing one final year. If he were to play again in 2019, we should come to expect Long to continue his charitable work, and donate part of his salary to continue helping children across the country.
