After finding out some bad news yesterday with Nigel Bradham suffering an injury, the team got some good news today on the injury front as Darren Sproles made a surprise return to the practice field.
The last time Sproles tried returning from his hamstring injury that has sidelined him since Week 1, he reaggrevated the same hamstring and caused this new three-week setback. Now it seems like the team was cautious in his return limiting him, and it appears that Sproles had no issues today.
Even at his age, Sproles can provide a needed boost to this Eagles team. He can take punt returns and allow Golden Tate to focus primarily on learning his new offense, and can be a pass-option for Carson Wentz out of the backfield when the team wants to give their new lead back Josh Adams some rest.
We will find out about his availability for Monday Night's game vital against the Washington Redskins in the coming days, and maybe as soon as tomorrow.
