As the Eagles continue to make the rounds at Pro Days across the country, yesterday they didn't have to go far to attend Temple's Pro Day. Eagles running back coach Duce Staley was in attendance and managed all of the drills for running back prospect Ryquell Amstead.
The team might have some extra interest in Armstead, as Vice President of Player Personnel Joe Douglas had a one-on-one conversation with Armstead following the conclusion of the workouts.
Armstead is currently projected to be a 4th-5th round draft pick in April's draft. If he is brought in, the running back room will become crowded with Wendell Smallwood, Corey Clement, Josh Adams and Boston Scott already fighting to become the lead back in Philadelphia. Darren Sproles could also decide to come back for one final season.
