Eagles 2019 Opponents Are Set

After an exciting (and stressful) Sunday, the Eagles have found themselves as one of the last 12 teams chasing the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Lost inside the madness that went on yesterday, some other games that went on did have some impact on the Eagles - but not for this season. After the 1PM window of games closed, the Eagles found out their opponents for the 2019 season.

It is of course too early to tell what these teams will look like with Free Agency and the NFL Draft still ahead. The two games that will probably be of most interest to Eagles fans are the games against the Vikings and the Patriots. The Eagles will return to U.S. Bank Stadium for the first time since beating the New England Patriots 41-33 in Super Bowl LII to claim their first Super Bowl victory in team history. It will also be a fun game because the Eagles leaped over the Vikings for the final playoff spot for the postseason, so Minnesota will be trying extra hard to pull some revenge. Needless to say, the Patriots game itself will be exciting, as the Patriots will travel to Philadelphia for the first time since Super Bowl LII. Eagles fans will most likely be in a taunting mood that day.

Obviously no one is really paying attention to this news as this season is still alive thanks to the heroics of the offense led by Nick Foles, and the ski mask boys of the defense. Once the offseason arrives, Eagles fans then might want to start planning what road games they'd like to attend.

The order of the teams the Eagles will be is still to be determined. The NFL usually announces the official schedule in April, so an update to the 2019 schedule will come then.
