Tomorrow the Eagles will be facing one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, who is currently playing at a MVP-pace. With that in mind they will need all the help they can get, which is why today they decided to add a familiar cornerback to the roster.
Bausby was around last season on the practice squad, and this offseason looked like he was in serious competition with Sidney Jones to win the slot-corner position. He ended up being cut before the regular season, and has been on the Eagles practice squad for a while. He might end up getting some snaps in the game since the Eagles have virtually no depth with their corners.
The Eagles didn't announce a move involving defensive tackle Tim Jernigan before 4PM, which means that Jernigan won't be eligible to play on Sunday. He has one more week to return for a game, or else his 21-day eligibility from the Reserve/Non-Football Injury List will be up, and will be forced to miss the rest of the season.
He has been practicing the last two weeks and so far it seems he hasn't had any issues, so we should expect to see him back for the Giants game as long as no setbacks happen.
