Eagles LB Coach Attends Utah's Pro Day

With Jordan Hicks leaving the Eagles this offseason to head to Arizona, the team now finds itself light at the linebacker position. They could decide to bring in a linebacker during this year's draft, and yesterday linebacker coach Ken Flajole was out west to see Utah's pro day in person to check out one of their linebackers.

Cody Barton | LB | 6’2 230lbs | Sr.

Barton was an honorable mention for the All-Pac-12 team in 2018. He led the team with 116 tackles (10.5 for loss) in his final season, while also sacking quarterbacks 4 times. He doesn't bring a lot of draft buzz, but he will be a late-round pick in this year's draft. If he keeps making tackle after tackle in training camp, he could find himself being a contributor during the regular season.

Current Projection: 5th Round
