Throughout the season, Pro Football Focus ranked each team's offensive line every week. It should come as no surprise that the Eagles o-line finished the season as the #1 ranked line in the NFL. In fact, the offensive line was ranked #1 every single week this season.
Here's what they had to say about the Eagles in their final game and some interesting nuggets of info from the season:
No member of the line allowed more than a single hurry against a Giants team that was resting every player of consequence in Week 18.
The biggest flaw with this line in 2022 was penalties. With 44 as a unit, the Eagles were tied for the most penalized line in the NFL.
Best Player: Lane Johnson
Lane Johnson didn’t allow a sack or a hit all season long and surrendered a total of just nine hurries across 551 pass-blocking snaps.
Eagles fans will be hoping that the line cuts back on the penalties in the postseason. We know they can keep the pocket clean for Jalen Hurts to be able to ball this postseason, they just need to make sure they don't take penalties and throw off offensive drives.
