Continuing on the Pro Day train, Eagles offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland made an appearance at the Oklahoma Pro Day on Wednesday. Oklahoma's entire offensive line from the 2018 season are projected to be drafted, so this is not shocking that Stoutland made his way down to Norman to check out the prospects himself. Here's a breakdown of each prospect:
Cody Ford | OT | 6'4 329 lbs
We mentioned Ford's name in the past as a player to watch during the CFB final four. Ford had a tough match-up against an Alabama front that embarrassed offensive lines all year. Against Alabama, Ford started off the game shaky, but finished with authority and showed why he could end up being a day one selection. Many project Ford to move inside to guard in the NFL. Interesting to note: Lance Zierlein of NFL.com has compared Ford to a current Eagles guard, Brandon Brooks.
Current projection: 1st Round - Early 2nd Round
Bobby Evans | OT | 6'4 319 lbs
Evans was the blindside blocker for Kyler Murray in 2018, after moving from the RT position a year earlier where he excelled. Evans is a strong and physical blocker, but his movement skills do not line up with what the Eagles are looking for.
Current projection: 3rd Round
Ben Powers | G | 6'4 314 lbs
Powers is another Oklahoma lineman that plays nasty and finishes blocks. With that being said, Powers is not great athletically, which does not translate well in the Eagles' offensive scheme.
Current projection: 4th Round
Dru Samia | G/T | 6'5 305 lbs
An athletic guard, Samia consistently showed his quick feet that allow him to get out of his stance and around to pull. Sometimes Samia's footwork can get sloppy, but this is something that Stoutland can work with.
Current projection: 5th-7th Round
