Today the NFL awarded its compensation draft picks to teams that lost more key players than added in 2018. The Eagles landed two compensation picks - a 4th rounder and a 6th rounder.
Here's a breakdown of how the Eagles got the two compensation picks.
The Eagles now officially know that they will have eight draft picks for the 2019 NFL Draft.
Eight picks will be plenty of ammunition for Howie Roseman to stock his 2019 roster. Of course these likely won't be the set positions the Eagles draft in, as Roseman likes to wheel and deal to move up and down throughout the entire draft. The biggest holes Roseman will need to fix will be the defensive end and the offensive line. We'll just have to wait and see who the front office brings in to help the Birds try to bring home their second Lombardi Trophy.
