After a disastrous start to a promising season, the Eagles are in desperate need of some help on the roster. However, the Eagles have minimal cap space in order to sign or trade for significant players.
That limitation has changed though, as it was reported today that defensive tackle Fletcher Cox restructured his contract to help the team's cap space situation.
The $6 Million in cap space will likely either help bring in a notable running back, or possibly a safety.
With the Eagles set to play Thursday night, a roster move will probably happen after that game. If a move is made prior to the game, whoever the team brings in won't be ready to handle all the plays the team has, and will have to wait until the following game against the Panthers to make their debut.
