Yesterday Villanova University held their pro day, which the Eagles had scouts attend.
The team didn't have to travel far to go watch this workout in person, as Villanova used the NovaCare Complex for the day. There are a few players from the small football school that the team had their eyes on:
Brandon Hitner | OT | 6’6, 300 lbs| Sr.
Hitner appeared in 28 games over four seasons for the Wildcats, primarily at the right tackle position. He participated in the College Gridiron Showcase this year, and is considered one of the top-100 small school prospects in this year's draft. Hitner will attend the Eagles local pro day next month, and with the Eagles having limited depth at the offensive line at the moment, Hitner has a chance to prove at the local pro day he deserves a shot to make the training camp roster.
Current Projection: UDFA
Rob Rolle | DB | 6’0, 190 lbs| Sr.
Rolle was named a STATS FCS Preseason All-American second team selection, and was also named to the CAA Football Preseason All-Conference Team. The Newfield, New Jersey native served as a captain for 2018, and recorded 53 tackles, 2 pass breakups and 1 forced fumble during the season. Rolle will attend the Eagles local pro day next month.
Current Projection: UDFA
Ethan Greenidge | OT | 6’4, 335 lbs| Sr.
A four-year started for the Wildcats, Greenidge was named a STATS FCS Preseason All-American and to the CAA Football Preseason All-Conference Team before the 2018 season.
Current Projection: UDFA
