Eagles Scouts Met With Tennessee Linebacker

Even though all of the college pro days have come to an end, news will still leak out prior to the draft about players that teams talked to at the workouts. News came out yesterday that the Philadelphia Eagles chatted with Tennessee linebacker Quart'e Sapp after his pro day last month.

Quart'e Sapp| LB | 6’2, 223 lbs | Jr.

Sapp is built like a linebacker but has the speed of a safety. However, he did not have a season that racked up tons of stats (just 29 tackles). He probably would have done himself better by staying in school for his final year of eligibility, but he should still wind up in some team's camp after the draft and will have a shot at competing for a spot on a 53-man roster. If he ends up in Philadelphia, he could have a decent shot at making the roster thanks to the team's lack of depth at the linebacker position.

Current Projection: 7th Round/UDFA
