Fans have been yelling at Howie Roseman to add a linebacker to this team, so what does Roseman do? Goes out and gets a linebacker.
The Eagles signed linebacker Zach Brown to a one-year, $3 Million contract this morning.
Brown has registered 631 tackles, 17.5 sacks, seven interceptions, and 20 pass deflections in 94 career games with the Tennessee Titans, the Buffalo Bills and the Washington Redskins. The former Pro Bowler will provide some much needed depth at the linebacker position for the Eagles, joining a linebacker group led by Nigel Bradham, Kamu Grugier-Hill, and L.J. Fort.
The Eagles still have plenty of money to spend for this season if they wish, with about $20 Million left in cap room.
