The Eagles have an eye on a receiver that some Birds fans might have watched up in Happy Valley, as they reportedly worked out Penn State wide receiver DeAndre Thompkins recently.

Thompkins doesn't have the prototypical size desired in an NFL wide out, but consistently on tape Thompkins has shown the ability to stretch the field and re-position himself to the ball in order to make a catch. He is Tied for fourth all-time at Penn State with two career punt return touchdowns, and finished his career ranked 21st in PSU career receiving yards (1,245). Groh reportedly spoke to Thompkins after the workout, so maybe the Eagles see him as a possible UDFA addition if he goes undrafted.
