Even though they have been coming along better the past few weeks, the play of the Eagles' offensive line as a whole this season has been measly to say the least. Jason Peters has been playing though a torn biceps and his play has downgraded, as has Lane Johnson who has been dealing with a MCL sprain and an ankle sprain so he hasn't been at his best either. There has been one lone bright spot on the Offensive Line, and that is Jason Kelce.
At the moment Kelce is Pro Football Focus' No. 1 center in the NFL. It's pretty remarkable considering that Kelce suffered an elbow injury three weeks ago. In fact, his play actually might have gotten better since the injury.
Of course everyone has seen Kelce's amazing set of blocks that set up Darren Sproles' touchdown Monday Night. Let's reminisce once again and look at this beautiful display of blocking.
Kelce also had a great play on a screen that allowed Corey Clement to have a clear field ahead of him for a huge gain.
Kelce is playing his best football at just the right time, as the Eagles will need him and the rest of the offensive line to protect Carson Wentz a whole 60 minutes to help win Sunday's massive game against the Cowboys.
