After six weeks of action, the Alliance of American Football has drawn in some fans who have craved year-round football, while other fans are falling asleep at watching games that give off an NFL preseason game vibe. For the people who haven't been watching much of the action and want to hear about some familiar names, this article is for you. The AAF is littered with former Eagles across the league, and with not a lot of Eagles news happening this time of year, we have been monitoring how the former Eagles are performing. In Week 1, five former Eagles shined in the AAF debuts. In Week 2 there were four former Birds who had pretty good performances. For Week 3 there was once again four players who once wore an Eagles jersey who had great games. To close out the first month of action, there were five players who made a stop in Philly who balled well in Week 4. And last weekend there were five players who excelledin their games. Here's a look at who showed up to play this weekend:
RB Terrell Watson (San Diego):8 rushes, 38 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 2 receptions, 17 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown
TE Anthony Denham (Salt Lake):4 receptions, 42 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown
WR Seantavius Jones (Atlanta):6 receptions, 38 receiving yards
S Ed Reynolds Jr. (Atlanta):6 tackles
CB De'Vante Bausby (San Antonio):2 tackles, 1 interception(leads AAF with 4 interceptions), 1 pass defended
WR Greg Ward Jr. (San Antonio):2 receptions, 13 receiving yards, 79 yard punt return touchdown (fun fact - the only 2 PR TDs in AAF history have been by former Eagles, as Ron Brooks had one in Week 4)
CB C.J. Smith (Salt Lake):4 tackles
