Howie Roseman continued his cap space manipulation today, restructuring the contracts of LB Nigel Bradham and DE Chris Long. According to ESPN's Field Yates, the Eagles added ~$5 Million in cap space with these moves.
However, it was later reported that Chris Long's restructure was just to give him more time to make up his mind or retiring or playing one more season.
After the trade of Michael Bennett, it seemed more likely that Long would be willing to stay since that would allow him to play more, but maybe he will wait to see if the team adds a pass rusher early in the 2019 draft that would take playing time from him.
Bradham's restructure will allow the team to add another free agent this offseason if they so desire, or maybe they will hold onto the cap space and roll it over to the 2020 offseason, where Carson Wentz is expected to get his mega-contract.
