After an impressive start to preseason, Josh Adams has put himself on the map and looks to have the upper edge on a roster spot over Donnell Pumphrey and Wendell Smallwood. But one downside to Adams' abilities is his health. He spent most of OTA's off the field with a foot injury, and today he left practice with an undisclosed injury.
From that report, we can conclude that it is most likely either hamstring or knee issue, but there are no reports out yet about the extent of the injury. We will have to stay tuned and see if Josh sits out next practice or is able to participate and keep gaining ground in the running back competition.
