That was quick. Earlier today, it was reported that the Eagles were going to trade or release Michael Bennett for salary cap purposes. Well now we know the Eagles have a suitor for Bennett's services, as Philly.com's Jeff McLane is reporting that Bennett is heading to New England.
In his lone season as an Eagle, Bennett played all 16 games while recording 34 tackles, 30 QB hits, 9 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 pass defended.
This trade will add $7.2 Million in cap space for Howie Roseman to use in Free Agency when it starts next week.
