He has only been a Philadelphia Eagle since Saturday, but Josh McCown might be thrown into the deep end tonight as the team is hoping to get two quarters of play from him.
It is still unclear what exactly the Eagles quarterback rotation will be tonight because Doug Pederson refuses to disclose Carson Wentz's availability for preseason games. Assuming Wentz doesn't play, McCown might get the first half, following by Cody Kessler and Clayton Thorson getting one quarter each.
McCown might end up getting to play with most of the Eagles' offensive starters tonight. It will help him build some chemistry with them in case he would ever need to play with them in the regular season. This will also help the team decide who will end up being the #2 quarterback once Nate Sudfeld fully recovers from his broken wrist.
