The list of injured Eagles is growing long enough to almost fill out an entire "All-22", it is soon getting to the point where the Eagles might have to call this a lost season. A new update on injured cornerback Sidney Jones came out yesterday, and he already knows he won't be available for the Jaguars game on Sunday.
Jones hurt his hamstring in the Eagles 34-13 blowout win over the Giants. We will just need to hope that this is just a precautionary step for the Eagles to decide to keep him out against the Jaguars, and not a situation like Darren Sproles where he is considered "week-to-week" but misses six plus weeks. They know that the bye week follows the Jaguars game, so he will have a total of three full weeks of rest before the next game against the Dallas Cowboys on November 11th. The game against the Cowboys will be an extremely important game for the Eagles if they want to win the NFC East, so the Eagles' goal will likely be to have Sidney Jones back and at full health for that game.
