StubHub, the world's largest event marketplace, recently released its second annual NFL Preview, which includes the highest-selling games, as well as the top in-demand teams, heading into the 2018 season.
According to StubHub, the most anticipated Eagles home game is the season opener on September 6th against the Atlanta Falcons.
StubHub has also revealed that their most in-demand regular season game of 2018 is when the Eagles face the Jacksonville Jaguars across the pond on October 28th. This marks the first time an international game has made the list.
“Eagles fans have always been passionate but their Super Bowl win has truly ignited the fan base to unprecedented levels. We’re seeing Eagles fans willing to travel long distances to watch their team play, including internationally for their game in London,” said Scott Jablonski, StubHub's General Manager of NFL, NBA & NHL.
According to the NFL, historically only 3% of fans attending London games have been Americans or American expatriates. Remarkably, 37% of sales for the October 28th London game are coming directly from Pennsylvania, the highest amount from a U.S. state that StubHub has ever seen.
With four teams returning from last year, the Eagles are also the only team new to the top five in-demand teams.
