The Eagles Win Cost Gamblers Tons of Money

Last night a lot of gamblers learned a valuable lesson while watching the Eagles play the Rams - don't bet against Nick Foles.

The 6-7 Eagles were a 13.5 point underdog coming into Sunday Night, but surprised the entire league when they went into the LA Memorial Coliseum and defeated a Rams team that only had two losses on the season. According to The Action Network, one bettor at the Mirage put up $180,000 that would have won $20,000 if the Rams prevailed.  That same bettor also placed a second bet of $55,000 on the Rams to cover as 12.5 point favorites. He likely broke the TV he was watching the game on at the end of the 3rd-Quarter.

The Action Network also found that a William Hill bettor placed a $70,000 bet on the Rams moneyline on Saturday. The bet would have won $10,000 if the Rams won the game. The SuperBook at the Westgatein Las Vegas also revealed that they took a -700 moneyline bet for $22,200 that would have netted $3,171 if Jared Goff and the Rams would have finished their comeback.

The Eagles are opening up as 3.5 point underdog versus the Houston Texans for next Sunday. We will see if anyone has the guts to bet against "BDN."
