It's officially game weekend! The Eagles are just days away from kicking off the 2019 season when they will host the division rival Washington Redskins at the Linc on Sunday where they will embark on what they hope will be a Super Bowl season.
As the excitement builds, one Eagle has set his expectation for the fans on Sunday. Talking to reporters, and as relayed by NBC Philadelphia's Dave Zangaro, Eagles tight end Zach Ertz said "I expect a playoff atmosphere and I'm sure our fans won't let me down."
I think it's safe to assume that Ertz won't be disappointed. While every Eagles season is met with excitement in Philadelphia, this one has a little extra juice courtesy of the expectations.
Regardless, if you're heading down to the Linc on Sunday, you best be on your A game. We wouldn't want to let Ertz down, so let's be sure to give him what he wants.
